From time to time, students who are very bright will progress up the academic ladder at a faster rate than is customary.  Occasionally, a student will finish eighth grade academics a year or more ahead of their contemporaries.  These children may still be too young, chronologically and/or emotionally, to make the step into high school.  For these, as for all children, Easton Country Day customizes education according to individual style and learning speed. 

       ECDS provides a post graduate year for these children.  This allows them to stay in familiar surroundings, with the friends they have grown up with, while moving on academically to high school.   Please inquire if you believe this option might be appropriate for your child.
